Why the Name Change?

We guess you have been wondering why change the name from Elegant Affairs to Engaging Details Events. Well, while we loved the name of our business, we wanted to have something that spoke more of what we are about. Elegant Affairs was nice, but it did not speak to what we wanted the brand to exemplify. Even though we love a good logo and all the pretty, pretty details we wanted the brand to speak personable, elegant and memorable. Along with that we wanted to focus on the details of an event, after all the details make the difference. In focusing on our brand being personable, elegant and memorable we needed a name that was encompassing of all those things. Thus, Engaging Details was born.

Engaging Details is more than a name! It’s a brand, a brand that shows what we want our clients to see and feel. Personable, meaning we want our clients and their guest to feel like family. We believe when you are comfortable it makes for a great working relationship and an even greater event. Giorgio Armani said it best “Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered.” Elegant, this word goes hand and hand for Engaging Details. You just cannot have an event without elegance; to us elegance exudes timeless and classic. It is always remembered and will always leave a lasting impression. We always ask our clients at the initial consultation, “When your guest are leaving for the night and they are on their ride home, what do you want them to remember the most about your wedding?” The number one answer we receive is it was memorable. No matter what happened or what the event looked like, they want them to remember the love that they shared and what an awesome time they had. It’s the memories of your event that will live on forever in the hearts of your guest.
